About Royalla Common
Royalla Common is nestled in the heart of beautiful Royalla just South of Canberra off the Monaro highway. Offering 12.5 hectares, of open space making it a popular location for weddings and the perfect place for your next function, recreational activity or a relaxing walk. The Royalla Common is managed by the Royalla Common s.355 Committee, a volunteer committee of Queanbeyan Palerang Regional Council supported by Royalla community groups and volunteers.
These groups are working together to bring future features include a playground, BBQ and picnic areas, multipurpose courts, arena and further stages of the Elm Grove paths to name a few.
The Committees' aim to provide an important public reserve with facilities for social, community and recreational activities for the benefit of the local region.
The Common is a wonderful green space. The strong landscape, character and history of the Common and the Royalla district with its flora and fauna, are being conserved and enhanced for the future. The Committee looks forward to you exploring and enjoying the beautiful Royalla Common.
The Royalla Country Fair takes place at the Common in March of each year.
